Ariel (Mary) Melaga & Michele Sevacko are "FIREFLY".
Combining various styles & genres of originalsongs & music, sometimes with dance, and sometimes with talented friends we enjoy performing at all different kinds of venues and are happy to share a few different programs. For the "general public" such as a coffee house or festival setting, we focus on messages of peace, love, and all those other things that make you feel good.
Reaching deeper into the community "healing the hurting", through our songs, we put an emphasis on abuse & addiction recovery. We have our "serious" side; however, we also bring a "lightness" (because that's what a Firefly does) to issues through songs such as "The Chicken Pickin' Addiction Song" (audio clip coming soon).
We are also "called" to serve the community as channels of healing to those experiencing a health challenge or preparing to make their transition. A new production, "Who I Am", an inspirational rock opera that deals with many issues, culminating in forgiveness, non-judgement and healing, is also in the creation process.
